Christmas Gifts

Good Monday morning everyone!

I made these gifts for my high school religion class that I teach at church.  I have 7 students so I made 7 of them.

I bought the glass blocks about a year ago and then remembered the other day that I had them!  Sometimes forgetting you have something is a good thing so you can use it later!

I cut the manger scene out of black vinyl.  Of course every block had a sticker on both sides - but I had some extra help with that.  The missionaries from my church were over for dinner last night and they took them all off for me.  They are always looking for ways to help and believe me it was a great help to me.

Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

New Christmas Card

This is a card I made for made for my cousin - she is 92 years old!  And doing great too!

I went through my scrap paper drawer, went through my odds and ends embellishments and put it together.

I like to use what you have to get what you want - and it will work, even if you make changes.  Once I put the poinsettia on the card I wasn't happy with it.  So I went through my embellishmets and found this bell.  I used wire cutters to cut the back off - I think it was a button, then used hot glue to put into place.

You can tell I love bling and used lots of stickles on it to make the "lights" pop.  I used clear stickles on the snowman so he would sparkly and then green stickles again on top of that for his buttons.  All snowmen should sparkle!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Sketch Time for GHWI Challenge # 11

I made this card from the inspiration of the sketch for GHWI Challenge # 11.  We would love to see anything that you dream or imagine, but please follow the sketch below.  You can play, create, be inspired, twist and turn but we have to  be able to see the sketch.  The prize is an {ippity} set of your choice from the{ippity} Sales Blog.  If you use {ippity} or Unity stamp(s), your name is int he drawing twice.  This challenge ends December 17 so you have plenty of time to join in on the fun!

The stamp set I used is Season of Joy

And here is the sketch

Challenge #11

I used several different sheets of Provo Craft paper and some paper from Hobby Lobby.  The emblishments are just from my stash.

I love Christmas music too and the Stamp set Season of Joy,  just goes perfectly with the background paper.  I see the music and then the "Joy" and I just want to start singing Joy to the World.

These stamps are just gorgeous and give you so many possibilities.

Have fun with this challenge we're excited to see your creations!

My Finished Santa and Reindeer

Sorry the picture didn't come out too good but I think I like this:

My first Christmas decoration!

I don't know if I ever told you how I made my reindeer and sleigh.

I used my Cricut Expressions and Make the Cut Software.  Since they have partnered with Letter-delights, all I had to do was open that in the software, pick Christmas and I choose the reindeer and sleigh cuts.

The paper was from my stash and I had a Santa sticker.

Now the question is can I store it for next Christmas and remember where I put it?

Hope you are having a wonderful day!
