Santa and his Reindeer

We don't have any Christmas decorations up yet and I can't stand it so I started making some of my own.  I just don't know though what to make the "rope" out of or if I should have them flying away in an "archy" type of way?  Any suggestions?

I know the background isn't very good but I wanted something contrasting so you could see them.

Two Baskets

These baskets are for the women, from church, that I visit each month, except I don't always make it.  But I thought I would give them these little baskets.  I know they are Christmas and I want to make Christmas things.

The foam snowman I embossed with my Big Shot and a Sizzix snow embossing folder.  I don't know if you can see the reinderr but he is a Sizzix cut and emboss die and finally just a litte snow scene again from a Sizzix embossing folder.  I added a few chocolates.  They can put these things in their homes or the can use them on cards for others.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek.

Embossed Christmas Card

I love reindeer and this one is just so beautiful I though it would be perfect for the GHWI Challenge #10.

I used Anna Griffin paper, three different styles.  The reindeer is a Sizzix die I bought several years ago.

I used the stamp set from Unity Stamps called Seasons of Joy.

I always picture red, green, and gold for Christmas and thought the white glittery paper would show off the reindeer.  I got the glitter paper from DCWV Glittered Mat Stack.

I then used gold ink and gold embossing powder for the Merry Christmas on the front of the card and for the inside also.

Of course I had to use some red stickles for his nose and for the corners of the card.  I then made the tiny boy using my Bow Easy.

Actually that reindeer says it all for me:  Believe, Peace, Merry Christmas, Joy, and Hope.

Here is a picture of the stamp set I used

Embossed Christmas Treat Bags

I was going to show the entire process but I forgot.  So here is the picture before they are put together.

You emboss you bag in any embossing folder you like.  Use Hershey nuggets for the candy and for the decorative wrap around the candy you decorate Avery Address labels.  Peel and wrap around the candy.
Now I know when you punch your holes in your bag that yours will be centered as you can see mine are not.

Here is the finished product:

When I make more I may staple them and use my Bow Easy to add my bow.

Thanks for stopping by.

Inspiration for the GHWI Challlenge 9

Here is my card:

I really had fun making this card.  I've always have wondered if I could create a card from a sketch and I did!

I used some Anna Griffin paper that I bought during her summer sale and some Making Memories paper.

The stamps, of course, are from the GHWI Sales Blog, and I used two different sets:  Gingham Christmas Greetings and Seaon of Joy.  For some reason I like to picture snow as blue so I used blue Perfect Pearls on the snowflakes and Stickles on the Joy and the Christmas Tree.  And of course on the beige paper I used some more Perfect Pearls.

Thank you for looking.

Baby Shower Gifts

These are two wall hanging I made for my niece's baby shower.

The first one is a poem. I then sprayed the flowers and added glitter (you know me - I love the bling!

The second one is a vinyl cut I did of a mother and her little girl out in the garden.  I really do like vinyl on paper.

Thank you for looking.

Purses

Here are some purses I helped our young women's leader make for the pursuit of excellence program.  I just cut and put a few together.  They did everything else that made them so cute!

You did a  great job and thank you for letting me help!
